Found: A New Friend

Hello from the beach! We came down here for a few days for the kids’ fall break to check on the little beach shack and get it ready to winterize it. It’s a super short trip, and to be honest, we’re not really in the beach mood (would much rather be home in the cool weather with our sweaters on), but we’re making the most of it.

PJ found this little turtle in our apartment behind the beach shack this morning and the kids are obsessed. It’s hard to tell just how small they are in the photos, but this little baby is teeny. It’s the highlight of their morning and they’re all crowded around the coffee table making little houses for it before releasing it back into the wild.

Ahhhh. Simplicities at the beach.
