Fall Break at the Farm

The kids are on fall break this week, so we came out to the farm this past weekend and plan to be here for the next seven days. After a few warm days, we woke up this morning to temps in the 40’s. Fall weather might finally be here to stay for a while.

We make our coffee and sip it while watching the sun rise over the mountain and pour into the living room. It’s a relaxing way to wake up. Right now I’m at the dining room table looking out the windows at the donkeys and the guineas picking at the grass in the field, and a total sense of calmness is washing over me.

The farm feels like a breath of fresh air this time of year.
