A Festive Touch: Wrapping Photos for the Holidays
/As the holidays approach, we love finding ways to make our home feel extra festive without breaking the bank. This year, we tried a simple and fun DIY: Covering the photos on our living room wall with wrapping paper! It instantly transformed the space and added a cheerful, cozy vibe.
Here’s how you can do it, too.
What You’ll Need:
Wrapping paper (choose festive patterns like plaids, holiday florals, or anything that suits your style)
Tape or double-sided adhesive
Scissors
Optional: Ribbon or bows for extra flair
Instructions:
Choose Your Frames: Select the photos or art pieces you want to cover. This works best on flat surfaces like canvas frames or glass-covered frames. We chose to cover all the pictures on our frame wall behind our TV.
Cut the Paper: Measure and cut the wrapping paper to fit each frame. Leave a little extra on the edges to fold neatly like a gift.
Wrap It Up: Gently tape or adhere the wrapping paper onto the frame. For a cleaner look, fold the edges tightly and tape them on the back.
Add Details: If you want to go all out, tie a ribbon around the “gift” or add a bow to make it look even more festive.
Hang It Back Up: Put your newly wrapped “gifts” back on the wall and admire your work!
This DIY is a great way to reuse leftover wrapping paper and give your living space a holiday refresh. Plus, it’s easy to undo once the season is over. Happy wrapping!
