Trench Coat Love

IMG_6483.jpeg

Happy Monday, my friends. How about a lighter post to start the week off with?

Even though it doesn’t really start getting cold enough here in Tennessee to wear one until January (which of course doesn’t stop me from wearing one now), I will forever and always love the sophistication and timelessness of trench coats. Seeing all of the different styles and colors of these has me longing to travel to NYC and roam the chilly streets all bundled up in scarves and mittens.

NYC is so damn charming in the fall/winter!

How fun and different is this one? I love the combination of the navy and rope.

That’s all! Have a lovely day 😊.

Shoes to Consider for Winter: UGG Boots

44ba2802f15215b4d949fe25a7844ef1.jpg

I’ve never been a huge fan of UGG Boots, but when I came across these Neumal Boots they kind of stopped me in my tracks and made me reconsider. How fun do they look? I’ve heard UGGs are extremely warm and comfy, which will be so nice once it starts getting colder.

Also loving these waterproof ones and the Campout Low shoe. Adding all to my wishlist immediately. PJ, are you taking notes?

3 Cozy Sweaters for Fall

Every year, as soon as the weather shows even a hint of getting cooler, I start imagining all of the comfy, oversized sweaters I’m going to curl up in this fall, like this orangey-brown crewneck from Gap. I think I've decided earthy colors like this are my favorite to wear, besides black (of course).

This tan crewneck sweater from J. Crew Factory is one of those sweaters that would look good with pretty much anything, looking equally appropriate running errands in jeans or lounging around the house in sweatpants.

While it’s a little pricey, how cozy does this wool sweater from L.L. Bean look? I usually shy away from horizontal color lines like this, but I really like the combination of the three colors here. It has those perfect earthy colors I mentioned that I love for autumn. It also comes in this grey color that would be cute for winter, don’t you think?

Now if fall would just hurry up and get here!!! xoxo

We’ve Been Living in These Sandals All Summer

public.jpeg

Summertime in Tennessee is hot enough that you barely want to wear clothes, let alone shoes. That’s why we’ve been wearing these sandals for the last few months.

Birkenstocks were all the rage when PJ was in high school, but they’ve started to make a comeback in the last few years, and thank God, because we love the way they go with any and every outfit and they’re comfy as hell. They’re classic in the best kind of way, don’t you think?

PJ has been rocking this brown pair and Thomas these black ones. We wear the same size shoes for the most part, but these are the only ones we won’t share. That’s how much we love them 😂.

Also, loving these brown ones with the gold buckles:

We’ve also been eyeing these, these, and these. The ones with the straps on the back seem like they would be especially comfortable.

Do you have a pair, too? Maybe you held onto them for years, waiting for them to come back in style again? OR, you wore them the whole time regardless if they were trendy or not. We like that scenario much better.

Two Fun New Swim Trunks

Hi friends! How was your weekend?

We just got home from our week long cruise with Celebrity Cruises and we’ve started the unpacking process (currently doing it as we speak). We had such a blast on their new ship, The Edge, and we can’t thank y’all enough for following along with us and sharing your feedback.

One question we got a lot on the trip was about our swim trunks and where we got them. We actually purchased them specifically for the cruise since we hadn’t bought new trunks in over three years! You can get the same ones for yourself by clicking the pictures below. Now all we need is some warmer weather and we’ll be set!

We Added Something New to Our Online Shop

We’ve added t-shirts!

We know spring and summer aren’t for a couple of more months, but we went ahead and stocked an item y’all have been asking us for, along with some more sweatshirts (with new colors). We hope you like them, and we hope you’ll stay tuned for more merchandise coming in the next couple of months!

You can check out all the new pieces in our Etsy shop!

Three Fun Fall Sweaters

FullSizeRender.jpg

You already saw some of the sweaters we wore to Amsterdam, (like PJ’s pictured above) but we’re crushing on a couple more now that the weather is getting even colder here in Tennessee. Is there anything better than wrapping up in a warm sweater on a chilly night? Today, we’re picking our top three favorite sweaters of the season that we can’t get out of our minds.

This burgundy chunky waffle-knit sweater from Forever 21 is the sister to Thomas’ yellow one he wore in Amsterdam. If we love a piece of clothing, we’re sometimes guilty of buying the same thing in different colors, especially in the fall with colors like orange, brown, and burgundy.

For when you want a classic, goes-with-anything look, Gap’s crew neck sweater in dark charcoal fits the bill. Sometimes fall doesn’t have to be all about reds and oranges. Sometimes, a simple gray sweater goes a long way, especially black pants.

If you’re feeling a little bold, this striped rugby sweater by J. Crew would be a lot of fun this fall, don’t you think? We would wear this with some jeans and casual sneakers or desert boots. Bonus: it’s on sale! But they only have XL in stock.

Fall fashion is our favorite, and every year we look forward to seeing what other people are wearing. Now brb, a fire, a glass of wine, and one of these sweaters are calling our names!

What We Wore to Amsterdam

What We Wore to Amsterdam

While we were in Amsterdam a few weeks ago, we kept getting so many questions about where we got our clothes, so we thought we’d finally sit down and make a post about the who, what, and where of our Amsterdam style!
