Read MoreOh friends. We’re in the home stretch with our laundry room makeover and it feels SO GOOD. Remember how PJ has been working on it since we started quarantining back in March? Well all his hard work is thisclose to being complete. We are in the staging part of it now that the construction & painting phase is complete.
I can’t tell you how proud of PJ I am for how much work he’s put into this over the last few months. It’s a fun feeling to see your husband get so excited and passionate about a project, put in the hours it takes to complete it, and then sit back and enjoy all the hard work he’s done to make it happen. Watching PJ work day and night to finish this room that our family has so desperately needed the last 3 years has brought us all an immense amount of joy.
I can’t wait to show you the final product! Keep an eye out on Instagram Reels for short progress updates where you can follow the entire process from start to finish.
Happy Monday, friends!
A few weeks back we told you about the kiddos’ new playroom that we created by switching up the boys’ room and moving it to the front of the house. The reason for that was because we wanted a playroom for them to have all to themselves, where they could play and run around and make a mess and it would be okay because we could just close the doors and pretend we don’t see it. Just kidding about that last part. Kinda.
Read MoreWe’ve seen the photo of this farmhouse’s warm and inviting living room on Pinterest a million times over the years, and chances are you have, too. But even after all these years, we’ve never been able to get this room and house out of our heads for a couple of reasons.
We love how they embrace warmer colors to create cozy, lived-in rooms, proving not every wall has to be white in order to look good.
With all the bookshelves and antique rugs, it looks like a familiar place where everyone is welcomed and encouraged to sit down and relax with a warm cup of coffee and a good book by the fire.
It appears the owners have updated the house for modern living while still maintaining the original charm that old houses are known for. A win-win!

You leave the plane feeling taken care of and, most of the time, wishing the flight was a little longer. It’s easy to fall in love with flying World Business Class with KLM, but there is one part of the whole experience that we never expected to fall in love with: receiving a KLM Delft Blue House at the end of every flight.
