We woke up to a bright, white, winter wonderland! And by winter wonderland, we mean it snowed a little. And by a little, we would really call it a light dusting, if you will.
Regardless, it’s a snow day in our book and we’ll take what we can get down here in Tennessee! The schools were closed, the bread and milk were gone off the shelves, and the salt trucks were dumping salt all over our roads, because you can never be too careful with ice on the ground.
It’s funny, when it snows here, it’s like a whole new town. Everything looks different, feels different, IS different. It’s like falling in love with the place you live all over again. When it snows, our town looks how (to us) it’s always meant to look, if that makes sense. All this to say, we wish it would snow more, but we’re grateful for what little we do get.
Did you get snow today, too? Hope you’re staying safe and warm out there, friends!
