How We Made Homemade Glass Cleaner Using Three Ingredients
The other day we decided it was time to give our windows a little early spring cleaning (after not having cleaned them in almost two years) when we realized we didn’t have any Windex at the house…
Not wanting to make a special trip to the store, we looked up how to make our own glass cleaner using the products we already had at home. We turned to our favorite person to ask: the internet. And boy did they have A TON of answers for us. We decided on a simple recipe from this website that only calls for three ingredients that most of us have already sitting in our cupboards at home.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Empty spray bottle
1/4 cup of vinegar
A few drops of dish soap (we used Dawn)
2 cups of water
Combine all of the ingredients in the spray bottle and you’ve got your own, natural alternative to all of the chemical-heavy glass cleaner found at the store! And as you can see in the photo above, Alyster definitely approves of the crystal-clear, streak-free windows.
