The Best Chicken Alfredo Recipe Ever
You know those nights where you don’t know what to make/you don’t want to spend a lot of money/you don’t have a lot of time? Those are pretty much our weeknights and so whenever that happens, we always know which recipe it’s time to break out.
This Alfredo recipe is SO easy and delicious. There’s almost nothing better than garlic and butter and this pasta has plenty of both. In fact, every time we have a new guest over, we always make this for them for dinner and they always ask for the recipe before they leave. It’s so good, that we also made a YouTube video about making it and you can watch that here!
Here’s what you’ll need…
Ingredients:
Noodles (we usually use angel hair or linguine, but fettuccine noodles are good, too, obviously)
Three (or four ;) cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 stick of butter
Two cups of heavy whipping cream
As much parmesan cheese as you want!
Salt & pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes for a little kick (optional)
Boneless chicken breasts (cooked however you want-we baked ours)
Directions:
Heat garlic and butter in a pan on medium heat and sauté until fragrant/butter is melted. DO NOT BURN.
Pour in heavy whipping cream and stir for around 30 seconds or until it’s all mixed together well. The sauce should still be pretty liquidy at this point. Let sit for 5-10 mins.
Add salt & pepper.
Pour in the parmesan cheese, which will thicken the sauce. Stir continuously while pouring for about 30 seconds. Remember, pour in as much as you want! The more you pour, the thicker the sauce will become, so it’s best to find a happy-medium. Let sit for 5 mins and turn heat down to low.
If you want to add red pepper flakes, go ahead and add them now.
Get the amount of noodles you want and pour sauce over noodles. Feel free to garnish your Alfredo with a little more parmesan cheese if your heart desires.
Chop up chicken and put on top of the pasta. Mix together and enjoy!
