A Small Tour of a Big Old Dream Home
It was a cold and rainy January day, and it seemed like the perfect day as any to go to the estate sale of one of our favorite houses in town.
There’s a big old brick house downtown that we have loved forever, and the owners just recently quietly sold it and are downsizing. A family friend was running the estate sale, and we’ve always wanted to see this house in person, so we stopped by for a quick look around to see if there was anything we wanted to buy (and also oooo and ahhhhh at the house, of course).
I feel comfortable posting this photos because 1. we know the sweet ladies who lived there and they are officially moved out and the house is in new ownership and 2. because no one was currently living in the house at the time these photos were taken.
If you’re like me and love to look at photos of old houses, I hope you enjoy!!

My favorite room of the entire home? The primary closet. Can you imagine?! All that storage! My jaw dropped when we walked into this room.
There were so many more rooms and a lot more photos (it’s SUCH a huge house), but I thought I would leave you with the above. Congratulations to the new owners of this beautiful home!
