The Biggest Winter Trend I’m Noticing Everywhere This Year

When it comes to sweaters, I like them oversized, and I tend to go a size or two up if the fit is regular so that they appear oversized. I’ve been reading a few fashion sites here and there over the last couple months, and many of them are saying big, cozy sweaters are officially a thing this winter.

I feel like they’ve always kind of been a thing, though. They were huge in the 90’s, and with 90’s nostalgia still at a high, I don’t see this style going away anytime soon.

I got this oversized turtleneck sweater years ago (it’s sadly sold out) and I bust it out every winter. It’s so warm and cozy and comforting and just feels like a big hug every time I put it on.

Even if the fit says oversized, I almost always order a size up anyway just to be safe and to really get that big, cozy look.

Are you into more fitting sweaters or are you drawn to the oversized look, too? Below, I’ve rounded up a few that I’m loving lately:

How great is this waffle crew sweater and the color? Love a neutral that goes with anything.

This Wyckoff sweater looks so warm and cozy.

A classic crewneck sweater sweater? Yes please.

I’ve never worn a boucle sweater before, but if it’s anything like the couches and chairs I see everywhere, I’m sure it’s extremely soft and cozy.

A cropped sweater is kind of a different take and I’m here for it.

Speaking of a different take, how fun is this ombré marled asymmetrical sweater?

A classic Fisherman sweater is always a good idea.

For this Old Navy crewneck raglan sweater, make sure to get it a few sizes up to get the oversized look.
