A No-Fail Way to Cut Long Hair at Home

A No-Fail Way to Cut Long Hair at Home

PJ has been cutting our kids’ hair for over four years, and I can’t tell you how much money it’s saved us.

He cuts the boys’ hair with ease, but up until now, he’s only trimmed the ends of Anna’s hair. Her hair took a while to grow when she was little, so we’ve been growing it out for the last few years, and it wasn’t until the other day that we realized just how long it’s gotten.

Her hair was down and in her face and kind of straggly-looking, and suddenly we both looked at each other with the exact same idea: Should we cut her hair short?

We asked her if she would be okay with it, and she enthusiastically said yes. So that’s just what PJ did. He watched a few YouTube videos for a couple of hours, and once he felt confident enough, he got to work.

Even though I wasn’t surprised by how good of a job he did (seriously, is there anything he can’t do?), I was amazed at the precision and time he took while cutting it. It turned out so well!!

We love it, and the best part is, she does, too. If you want to see a step by step video guide on how to get the perfect haircut at home, click here.
