It’s Officially Lambing Season at Ocoee Farm!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year the cutest time of the year, because lambing season has officially begun at Ocoee Farm!!

When we pulled up to the farm yesterday, we saw three little lambs hopping and bouncing and baaaa-ing around, and it instantly filled me with the happiest, warmest feelings ever. Is there anything cuter than a baby…anything? So innocent. So little. So precious.

At the farm right now, all you hear all around you are the sounds of little lambs baaaa-ing, and all you see are them runnings towards their moms and shoving their faces into their utters to drink milk. It’s such a beautiful example of life in it’s purest form.

This lamb’s mother was very warm and protective of her, which is always a good sign. She was following her around and licking her the whole time, never straying too far from her side and always keeping an eye on her.

Most lambing seasons are in the spring, but ours are every January and then again in the summer. It always feels like a nice way to start the year off, don’t you think?
