Approved! Finally!

Keep: This may mean absolutely nothing to you, but it was the absolute best part of our day: After months and months of back and forth with trying to get the inspection at Holiday House approved, and two previous occasions where the inspector came out and failed us for a few minor things, today WE FINALLY GOT THE APPROVAL. I can’t believe it. This means we can finally, finally, finally start moving furniture in. There’s nothing left to do, and there’s nothing preventing us from moving forward with getting our stuff in there. Hopefully we’ll have time to bring some of the pieces over there tomorrow. We have couches, a dining room table and a few other things that can go in right away. Eeeeeek! I can’t quite put it into words how big of a deal this is, and I can’t wait to show you what it looks like with furniture in the house.

Delete: Remember those deadlines I mentioned the other day? They kept me busy for the last two days and as a result, our house is a complete and utter disaster. Maybe this weekend we’ll finally get around to folding the mounds of laundry we have in every room of the house.
