Us and Them

Keep: I don’t know if it’s because they’ve been with us for five years or because they just favor us, but we did a little trend on Instagram tonight where we showed the two of us and the color of our eyes, and then our kids and the color of their eyes, comparing them to ours and how similar or different they are. Obviously they’re not biologically related to us like all of the other families doing this trend, but when I see their faces directly after ours, I can’t help but feel biologically connected to them on such a deep level. I don’t know, I think that’s just called love?

Delete: Another day, another interruption at the beach due to pouring down rain. We haven’t had the best luck this week with weather, causing us to leave the beach in the middle of the afternoon two days in a row. I don’t know how much longer we’ll be here, but we’ve already said on the next rainy day we’re taking the kids to see Inside Out 2!
