Everyone in One Place

Keep: Last night, I was cooking a homemade spaghetti sauce on the stove while Parisian music played in the background and the kids were in the living room playing video games with our bff Julia and my mom, who stopped by to say hi after work. And in that moment, I realized how happy and content I was for my friends and family and life. How lucky was I, I thought, that all my favorite people were in one place at the same time. I love that we live close enough to my mom that she can easily stop by and laugh with the kids as they all play Mario Bros. on the Nintendo. These are the moments we can never get back, and I don’t ever want to forget them. I love you, mom.
